AI for firms where the work product has to hold up.

Accounting, forensic, and legal practices handle large volumes of sensitive files, and the work is often cross-examined or privilege-bound. We automate the repetitive document work with verification built in, and keep the judgment exactly where it belongs.

You will recognize this

Document-heavy firms have the most to gain from AI and the most to lose from getting it wrong. If any of these are true, there is a safe way forward worth talking through.

Your team spends billable hours on document intake, sorting, and filing that should be automated
Your work product is presented or cross-examined, so every process choice has to be defensible
Privileged or protected material cannot go into a public AI tool
Staff are already using AI informally and no policy covers what data goes where

One constraint governed every decision: defensibility under cross-examination. We migrated the firm off an aging on-premises server to a private two-tier Azure Files architecture reachable only over an encrypted VPN, built governance around a GREEN, YELLOW, RED classification keyed to authorization, and delivered a custom document-intake automation with an append-only audit trail, verify-before-confirm logic, and human-only ratification.

Autonomy is capped on purpose. Document intake was the right first target. The expert analysis is the last thing AI touches, not the first.

A 30-minute call is enough to tell you what is safe to automate, how to keep it defensible, and where private AI is worth it for your most sensitive material.

The Regulated Firm's AI Readiness Checklist

Six questions that decide whether your firm can adopt AI without putting client data, a renewal, or an examination at risk. Walk them before your next audit, not after.

  • Where client data is leaving your environment through public AI tools
  • Whether your AI controls would survive a SOC 2 audit or an examination
  • Where a human, not the model, needs to ratify the output
